Since 2012 Reach A hand Uganda has been running the Sauti plus system, The system is a unique approach designed to embrace the growing and innovative technologies in social media,radio and Tv,mobile phones,print,digital media and mobile applications to contribute to addressing sexual reproductive health and rights issues that affect young people in and out of schools ranging from HIV/AIDs,relationships, life skills ,teenage pregnancies,child marriages,financial literacy to SRHR services among other opportunities.
SAUTIPLUS APP
The SAUTIplus app is specially designed to help young people access accurate and reliable information about sexual and reproductive health & rights in a convenient manner. For this, our client tasked us to create a safe space where young people can ask and have questions about their sexual and reproductive health answered.
E-referral system
A platform that enables the seamless transfer of patient information from a primary to a secondary treating practitioner’s client management system.
For this, our client was looking at a system that acts as a link between health workers and their peers at health centres and transition of SRH information.
THE SAUTIPLUS USSD CODE
Launched in June 2020. The USSD code is a system that bnngs younger people closer
to timely reproductive health services and information through a text Users can as well get referrals to the nearest service providers. It is as simple as dialing 2841 5 and follow the prompts. The beauty about this is that it doesn’t need an internet connection. Even people with feature phones can access the service.
